Floating disc is an energy-saving and environmentally friendly equipment that covers the liquid level of a storage tank by lifting it up and down with buoyancy. To reduce the volatilization of the medium in the storage tank, reduce losses, save energy, and protect the environment, an internal floating disc is added to the storage tank. The storage tank achieves energy conservation and environmental protection by installing a floating disc to seal the stored medium and reduce the temperature of the medium. This equipment is widely used in petrochemical units across the country, major oil companies and refineries of Sinopec, ports and docks, transportation, power plants, and military logistics departments.
The skeleton of the floating disc is designed as a spider web, dividing the entire floating disc into several small units, and then fixing the cover plate (mask) on the upper part of the skeleton. The floating disc forms a honeycomb structure under stress, improving the strength and stiffness of the floating disc structure, ensuring smooth operation without tilting or jamming, greatly improving the working performance of the floating disc. The buoyancy element of the float is formed by seamless extrusion (or rolled plate welding can be used according to customer cost considerations), with fewer welds, good sealing, strong reliability, and good safety. The float and structure adopt a split type, which facilitates the adjustment of buoyancy size and distribution, ensuring even buoyancy distribution and smooth operation of the floating roof without sinking or jamming.
